Adrian Peterson‘s son died in the care of the child’s mother’s boyfriend, Joseph Patterson. But in the midst of all of this incredible loss, a man by the name of Tyrese Robert Ruffin, claims to be the little boy’s real dad.

Tyrese took to Facebook, according to MediaTakeOut.com to tell the world that he’s the one that raised little Ty. He claims that he is allegedly the father of the boy that has captured the hearts of everyone around the world.
Adrian Reveals Why He Played Football In Midst Of Tragedy
A.P. sent a text message to Laura Okmin of Fox Sports, and revealed why he wanted to play football to honor his son.
My brother passed the night before the combine and I decided to go through with it. The same reason why I will play this week. You may ask why? God wants good to come from it… We mourn and grieve but heaven had the baddest welcoming party for my son. That knowledge gives me peace. I’m still hurt and feel the pain of life, but I’m able to function because of the peace and joy of knowing my loved ones are in a much better place.
Town Holds Touching Vigil For Adrian’s Son
One of the people in the town, Jennifer Miklos, who who worked in Ty’s daycare, spoke out to the Argus Leader: ”I can’t believe this is happening,”
Jennifer was one of the many people — some who knew Ty and some who just wanted to pay their respects — who gathered at Sertoma Park in Sioux Falls. Many brought candles to the emotional vigil.
